Well, our battered live events industry made it once again to the end of the season and enough music festivals happened that we were able to craft our annual year-end list. Our highly semi-scientific system ranks music festivals based on the number of pageviews they garnered over the course of 2021 by you, the fans.
This year, we only had enough data for the United States and we excluded any music festivals that had been cancelled including heavy hitters like Bonnaroo, New Orleans Jazz Fest, and the two-weekend Coachella. That opened up the rankings which saw the Jay-Z curated Made in America taking the top spot along with rock/metal festival Inkcarceration as the runner-up and hip-hop heavy Rolling Loud out of Miami in the third spot.
Congratulations to all the festivals that made the list and let’s get psyched for 2022!
