Jazzopen Festival 2023

July 13-23, 2023

Stuttgart, Germany

The Scene

Founded in 1994, jazzopen has become one of the leading jazz & beyond festivals in Europe in 28 years. Under the motto "Be Jazz be Open", the festival presents artists of international caliber from the jazz, blues, soul and pop scene over 11 days and on 4 main stages transforming the state capital Stuttgart into a hotspot for music fans with around 50,000 visitors. It is not without reason that the jazzopen was awarded the annual organizer prize, the Live Entertainment Award (LEA), as "Festival of the Year 2017" in April 2018 and "Concert of the Year 2018" for the concert by Kraftwerk with a live link to astronaut Dr. Alexander Gerst in the ISS space station.
