It was reported in CBC News today that Virgin Mobile’s summer festivals across Canada have been can cancelled. The economy was of course to blame, along with difficulty procuring headline acts. This is sad news indeed as this concerts represented a decent sized chunk of the Canadian festival summer.
Last year, there were festivals in Alberta, BC, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and Ontario. The UK V Fest will still happen while the word is still out on V Fest Baltimore — don’t hold your breath.
