After months of speculation of whether the Baltimore area festival would even take place, organizers have finally confirmed the event. Weezer, Blink 182, and Public Enemy will headline the Virgin Mobile Fest, but the most attention grabbing piece of news is that four year old festival will be free this year.
Some other changes:
1. The festival has been renamed to Virgin Mobile FreeFest
2. It will only be one day: August 30
3. The venue has changed from the Pimlico Race Course the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.
