The Tortuga Music Festival will return next year to the sunny beaches of Florida. Dates have been confirmed for April 12-13, 2014, at the Fort Lauderdale State Park. Last year the inaugural version of the fest debuted around this same time and drew more than 25,000 fans.

Early bird tickets go on sale this Friday, October 18, at 10am EDT. Two day passes are going to run around $160 with fees. Like a commenter on the Tortuga Facebook page said, “For $160.00, I’m gonna need to see the line up.”

No word on artists yet, although we expect to see a few headliners announced fairly soon as the holiday season draws close (fest tickets fit perfectly in stockings!). Last year’s bill featured The Avett Brothers, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, G. Love, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kenny Chesney, Sister Hazel, and Ben Harper with Charlie Musselwhite.
