Europeans know how to apres-ski and how to throw a kick ass festival. Combine the two for a full week of snowboarding, music, partying in the Alps and you get the Snowbombing Festival. The Austrian resort of Mayrhofen plays host to the madness.
Snowbombing 2010 is scheduled for April 5-10. The lineup hasn’t been announced yet, but past acts include Madness and Grandmaster Flash. Plus, they have an Arctic Disco which sounds like the most awesome club ever.
If you’re curious about prices click over here for information on packages and lift tickets and whatnot. Yeah, it looked expensive to us too, but this is also one of the of the more unique festivals in the world.
