When the Laneway Festival (September 14, 2013) hits American shores for the first time this year, they will be bringing along headliners Sigur Ros and The National. The single day show takes place at the Meadow Brook Music Festival in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
Other hidden jewels in the lineup include Youth Lagoon, Warpaint, The Dismemberment Plan, and Solange. Laneway is a traveling Australian music festival tour founded in 2004. In recent years, they have expanded to New Zealand, Singapore, and now the United States. We’re guessing if this inaugural show does well, there could very well be a US Laneway tour in 2014.
