It’s been slower than usual this season for festival cancellations, but just when we were getting all comfortable with our summertime lineups, FYF Fest out of Los Angeles has officially announced that their 15th anniversary show won’t be happening. The official statement (posted above) was posted to their website.
Year Started: 2004
Reason for Cancellation: According to Billboard, low ticket sales caused the festival to be called off.
Chance of Return: It’s been a rocky road for FYF over the last year with the founder being accused of sexual misconduct, and Goldenvoice eventually buying out his stake in the festival. Your friends here at the MFW Deadpool are stumped whether FYF will ever back, so we’ll just give a cautious 2 out of 10.
