There’s plenty to love about The Frendly Gathering taking place June 14-16, 2012. For one thing, it’s in Vermont. It features Dr. Dog, Railroad Earth, Deer Tick, and DJ Z-Trip as just a few of the artists. It takes place in June, which is the ideal time to take a camping holiday in The Green Mountain State (any earlier you’re in mud season, any later and you’re in humid, sticky, mosquito season).
And no, I didn’t misspell the name. The Frendly Gathering is put on by the Frends crew, a group of professional snowboarders who live by the motto: “There is no I in frends.” Check out their site here.
Tickets will run you $124.95 for a three day weekend. It takes place at the former ski area Timber Ridge on the backside on Magic Mountain in Windham, Vermont.
