There’s lots of changes this year to The Bamboozle. The first is that the 100+ band show moves from The Meadowlands to North Beach in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The Bamboozle started in Asbury Park, so they’re returning to their roots for the tenth year anniversary (May 18-20,2012).
Lineup rumors for The Bamboozle have reached a fever pitch, mostly because you can say anything on the Internet without backing it up. Most rumors use this format:
“(Insert any band name here) has been confirmed. I saw it on Twitter.”
For the record, only three bands have been announced so far. Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters, and Blink-182 and The Bamboozle would please ask you to keep it that way. Now the rumor that ticket prices have jumped significantly? Yeah, that one is true. A three day wristband will cost $216 this year ($190 plus a whopping $26 in fees). If that’s too high for you, single day tickets are usually released in the upcoming months.
