Swine Flu May Headline Glastonbury

135,000 people gathered together on one farm are not ideal conditions when your country might be dealing with a budding pandemic.  The Guardian reported today that Glastonbury officials are holding emergency talks to discuss the possibility of cancelling the five day festival.

So many people gathered in one place is a risk and if the government wanted to pull public events, like in Mexico, we’d be one of the first to go,” the spokesman told the Sun. “It would be crazy not to put a plan in place. Right now, though, it’s full steam ahead.
