Sunset Strip Music Festival 2012: The Doors To Be Honored by 50+ Bands

We haven’t heard a peep all year from The Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF) — until today. SSMF announced that the fifth annual three day festival will take place August 16-18, 2012. Each year, SSMF picks an influential artist or band that has a strong history with the Sunset Strip. The theme of this year will be the music and legacy of The Doors.

There’s an intial lineup which includes: Marilyn Manson, The Off Spring, Steve Akoi, Bad Religion, Black Label Society, Far East Movement, De La Soul, Dead Sara, Das Racist, The Mogwgli’s and more to added in the coming weeks. Expect lots of Doors cover tunes from these bands.

Tickets: General admission passes are on sale now for $75 and $135 for VIP.
