Jack White and the Arctic Monkeys are just part of the boom in the SONiC Boom 2014 lineup announcement that dropped today. Edmonton’s alternative/soon-to-be-mega-fest returns August 29-31, 2014, at the Northlands. With a new expansion to three days, expectations were high for this year’s lineup.
Looks like Sonic Boom has delivered with acts including Foster The People, Rise Against, Descendents, Death Cab For Cutie, Cage the Elephant, Tegan and Sara, The Airborne Toxic Event, and The New Pornographers. More acts will be announced at a later date, but this is already a great start.
Tickets will run you $199.50 for general admission, $269.50 for VIP. They go on sale, Saturday, May 3.
