Tickets are on sale now for the Shambhala Music Festival which goes off August 7-13, 2013. A regular admission pass is going to run you $310 for a week’s worth of zen in Salmo, British Columbia.
There’s a couple of interesting notes about this year’s ticketing. First, it’s all going to be run through the official website via PayPal. There’s also a counter posted directly on the front page letting fans know exactly how many tickets are left for sale. A three ticket limit per purchase will keep a handle on scalpers and you have to be over 19 to get into Shambhala.
Also be aware that the ticket price doesn’t incldue a 12% tax and $17 in additional fees. If Shambhala is controlling the ticketing, these hidden fees should just be posted as part of the price up front — something we’ve been advocating for fans since MFW came online.
