In news that should surprise nobody, Coachella was the top grossing music festival for 2015 according to Billboard. The internationally famous juggurnaut pulled down more than $84,000,000 over the course of two weekends. The runner up, Outside Lands, came in at over $24 million while Coachella’s country sibling Stagecoach rounded out the top three at $21,879,744.
Here’s the chart from Billboard, although based on this data we’re curious to see the top 50. Where does Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza Chicago, or Primavera Sound fit into this picture? Or is this strictly data from the festivals that chose to release their total gross numbers?
