If you can’t get to South America for the annual Rock in Rio Festival, the organizers are going to bring it to you — Vegas style. And like everything else in America we’re going to see a super-sized version of Rock in Rio USA this spring with a double weekend dose on both May 8-9 and May 15-16, 2015.
The venue will aptly be named “The City of Rock” and will spread out over 37 acres with a capacity of 85,000 people a day. The venue will feature six stages along with 100 acts. There’s also this, and I quote: “A zip line that stretches 64 feet high and 600 feet long in front of Main Stage.”
