The Virgin Mobile FreeFest will be bringing Vampire Weekend, MGMT, and The Avett Brothers to Maryland on September 21, 2013. The price tag is indeed free, but the fest asks you to donate at least $10 to help homeless youth. The festival has raised enough money to even build a house for RE*Generation — see the residents in the below video help announce this year’s lineup.
The rest of the recently announced lineup includes: City and Colour, CHVRCHES, Madeon, Robin Thicke, Ghost Beach, Pretty Lights, Black Joe Lewis, Kaskade, Gareth Emery, Little Green Cars, Manufacutred Superstars, Icona Pop, Sky Ferreira, The Knocks, Congorock, and TJR.
