Riot Fest will be back this year not just once, not just twice, but three times. Like in 2013, the semi-traveling punk/indie rock festival will roadtrip across the border, stop in at the home base of the Windy City, then wind on down to the Rocky Mountains. The flagship Chicago edition is scheduled for September 12-14, 2014. Before that fans can catch the Riot Fest & Travelling Exposition in Toronto September 6-7, 2014, and the Denver Riot Fest & Sideshow September 19-21, 2014.
This is Riot Fest’s 10th anniversary and they are promising more bands, more rides, and expanded footprints in all 3 cities and special surprises and attractions in Chicago in celebration of its 10th anniversary. Camping has been redesigned in Denver and a carnival is being added to Toronto.
Last year’s insane lineup included The Replacements, Bob Mould, Bad Religion, Guided By Voices, Best Coast, Dinosaur Jr, and Sublime with Rome so expect the decade capping 10th year announcement to be epic.
