Though the bill at this year’s 20th anniversary Lolla seemed a mixed bag, it was weirdly heartening to spy the odd Deadmau5 t-shirt at the Black Lips show, or seeing an Eminem fan finding a different sort of catharsis in the Mountain Goats.
