Ozzfest Returns for 2013…In Japan!

It’s been a shaky last half-decade for the traveling Ozzfest. We last saw them in 2010 running a six city tour. Before that, they ended up canceling the 2009 festival and even dabbled with the concept of going free in 2007. With not a peep over the last two summers, we thought the curtain had closed on Ozzfest.

Never count out Black Sabbath. Ozzfest has announced that not only will it return on May 11-12, 2013, but that fans can look forward to a debut performance in Japan. So far it’s just Black Sabbath and Slipknot heading the lineup, but expect plenty of acts to be announced in upcoming months.

The venue is the Makuhari Messe arena in Chiba, Japan. Tickets look like they’ll start at $175 for a one day show, but you’ll want to see for yourself on the website right here.
