North Coast Music Festival, which also calls itself the “Last Stand of Summer,” announced the first wave of artists for the Labor Day Weekend. The traditionally electronic/hip-hop/jam lineup includes Pretty Lights, Big Boi, and Axwell. It all goes down at Union Park in Chicago.

Tickets are on sale for the weekend at $100 (plus $18 service fees) for general admission. VIP three day passes will run you $350 (plus $41 service fees). This show is all ages as well.

The rest of the lineup is filled out by: Atmosphere, Steve Akoi, Excision, The Rapture, Alesso, Modestep, Mord Fustang, Felix da Housecat, Yacht, Dan Deacon, King Khan & The Shrines, Rebrith Brass Band, Van Ghost, Maya Jane Coles, Com Truise, and Auto Body.

There’s still plenty of names left to announce — we’re expecting at least two more waves of artists. What do you fellow music festival junkies think of the lineup so far? In the crowded Chicago festival market, will North Coast make your “must-see” list this summer?
