The Bamboozle Festival dropped this bomb on their official Facebook page:

Happy holidaze Boozlers! We are sad to announce we will miss all of you in 2013 but keep your eyes peeled for 2014 info. Have a warm and safe holiday season!

The Bamboozle, a fixture of the early summer music festival scene, just celebrated its tenth anniversary in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Problems for the fest started back in October when city officials and Live Nation couldn’t work out a deal. According to this article:

“We’re always trying to provide Bamboozle fans with the most spectacular musical experience possible,” a Live Nation spokesman told The Star-Ledger. “We haven’t made final plans for Bamboozle ’13, but will let everyone know as soon as they’re finalized.”

No reasons have been voiced yet by Live Nation as to why the festival was cancelled for 2013. Fan rumors blame hurricane Sandy, the move from the Meadowlands, and that the founder of Bamboozle is no longer with the festival.

Born during a backstage Bonnaroo downpour, Vito's mission in life is to dance, write, and travel to all the great festivals that this wide world has to offer.
