New Festival Planned for Rothbury Site

The Music Festival Wizard are going to miss Rothbury — our winner for best music fest of 2009. But the spirit of festivals in Michigan hasn’t died. This summer the L3 Lucky Lake Live – Homegrown Michigan Music Festival (that’s a mouth full) will showcase 75 artists along with a DJ tent and other activities. We’ll keep you posted on all the future details.

  • What: L3 Lucky Lake Live – Homegrown Michigan music festival.
  • When: Aug. 20-22.
  • Where: Lucky Lake campground next to the Double JJ Resort, just off U.S. 31 at Rothbury/Winston Road in Oceana County.
  • Tickets: $33.50 per day, $63.50 for a three-day pass, $103.50 for three days of music and four nights of camping. Can be purchased starting at 10 a.m. Saturday on the festival website: luckylakelive.com
