We love new festivals, especially when they have a lineup like this.
The rumors of a Twin Cities based music festival happening this summer on Harriet Island have been confirmed. Live Nation and the City of St. Paul announced the debut today of the River’s Edge Music Festival. This two day event (June 23-24, 2012) is the first of a five-year agreement and after seeing the inugural lineup, that’s going to be a good thing.
Dave Matthews Band and The Flaming Lips will headline the show along with Tool (only announced US date of the year) and Diplo. The rest of the lineup is rounded out by Brand New, Polica, Motion City Soundtrack, Puscifer, Coheed & Cambria, Scissor Sisters, Datsik, MuteMath, Delta Spirit, Blaqstarr, Kinky, Mexican Institute of Sound, Civil Twilight, Quietdrive, An Horse, Gardens & Villa, AM & Shawn Lee, The Whigs, Hey Rosetta!, K-Flay, Yawn, Kids These Days, Yuna, and The Rope.
TICKET INFO: Tickets go on sale April 13 at 10am. Two day wristbands will run only $99 so move quick as we’re expecting this show to sell out.
