Central Pennsylvania picks up a new fest this summer with the debut of the Karoondinha Music & Arts Festival. The first-year celebration will take place from July 21-23, 2017, at Penn’s Cave & Wildlife Park in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania.
Sure, there’s an initial lineup, but what we really want to know is where did they find that name (and how many times will I will misspell it)? Turns out the Seneca Tribe “aptly dubbed this land, Karoondinha, meaning The Land of Shining Waters.” Cool.
Even cooler, the initial lineup will feature John Legend, ODESZA, The Roots, Chromeo, and Alessia Cara. There’s also going to be a Thursday night kick-off party for early arrivals.
Tickets go on sale 12pm EST, Wednesday, March 1.
