In only a few years, the Firefly Music Festival has become an East Coast mega-fest juggernaut, and now organizers are adding a second weekend of country. The debut Big Barrel Country Music Festival takes place from June 26-28, 2015 — only a week after Firefly and at the same location. No surprise the folks behind this also put on Stagecoach, a massive country music festival held the weekend after mega-festival Coachella.
Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, and Miranda Lambert will headline. We’re also looking at Lynyrd Skynrd, Loretta Lynn, Merle Haggard, Sturgill Simpson, The Del McCoury Band, and The Felice Brothers. Tickets are on sale for $99 which is undercutting their rival the Delaware Junction Festival by nearly $100. The battle for your country heart is on!
