Chicago will add another new festival to its already packed summer season. The new Chicago Open Air Festival is scheduled to hit town July 15-17, 2016. The venue will be at Toyota Park near the Midway Airport in Bridgeview, Illinois.
No word yet on the lineup but the organizers include Danny Wimmer Presents which puts on the some of the largest rock festivals in the US like Rock on the Range and Carolina Rebellion. The first headliner will be announced Tuesday, February 9 at 5:00 PM along with discounted early bird tickets. We’re expecting to see about sixty or so artists on the final lineup. There’s also plans for a Gourmet Man Food and craft beer village so yum.
