Jane’s Addiction, Weezer, and Death Cab for Cutie will headline the Bunbury Music Festival scheduled from July 13-15, 2012. The inaugural Cincinnati event stated that there will be six stages with around 100 bands. Newly announced to the lineup are The Airborne Toxic Event, Manchester Orchestra and Gym Class Heroes with a full schedule planned for later in March.

Not a bad start for a show that’s been fifteen months in the planning. The head honcho, Bill Donabedian, is no stranger to the festival scene as he’s one of the co-founders of the indie MidPoint Music Festival (another Cincy fest). Besides the sick headliners, our favorite part of Bunbury has got to be the ticket prices which are $93 for a 3-day ticket.

So what exactly will Bunbury be like? Bill Donabedian describes it like this: “If someone picked up the Pitchfork festival and dropped it along the Ohio, then I think you might get a sense of Bunbury.”
