Kid Rock, Alabama, Tim McGraw, and Carrie Underwood will headline the first ever Boots and Hearts Music Festival in Ontario, Canada. Running August 10-12, 2012, Boots and Hearts aims to be the “largest international country music festival ever hosted on Canadian soil,” according to the press release. The lineup also includes Paul Brandt, Big and Rich, Lauren Alaina, Jason McCoy, Dallas Smith, High Valley, and Canaan Smith. More artists will be announced in the future.
Shannon McNevan, the head honcho says:
We have three full days of country music on two stages, tailgates, barbecues, and all kinds of activities throughout the day to keep fans entertained. And just when other music festivals call it a night, Boots and Hearts will ramp things up with nightly after-parties. It’s definitely shaping up to be the party of the summer.
Late night parties? That’s music to our ears. There’s camping at Boots and Hearts which is being held at the unfortunately named Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. The 750 acre property is located about hour outside of Ontario and camping permits are priced at $63.99 through the official website.
Speaking of tickets, you can pick up three day passes for $199.99 on April 4th.
