For their 30th anniversary, Merlefest is pulling out all the stops, including an initial lineup with Zac Brown, Del McCoury, and Sam Bush. The festival was founded in 1988, in memory of Eddy Merle Watson as a fundraiser for Wilkes Community College and to celebrate traditional Americana music.
