CRSSD Festival Spring 2017

This new downtown festival in sunny San Diego may have only debuted in 2015, but this latest entry in March will mark the fifth edition of CRSSD.

Boston Calling 2017
Allston, MA
May 26-28, 2017

Over on the East Coast, Boston Calling also pulls a spring-fall double feature. The Memorial Day weekend Boston Calling moves from its first home in City Hall Plaza down the street to Allston.

A Summer’s Tale Festival 2017
Luhmühlen, Germany
August 2-5, 2017

We love the name of this newer German festival. A Summer’s Tale returns for its next chapter this August. Franz Ferdinand has already been tapped as their first headliner.

Into the Valley
Rummu, Estonia
June 29-July 1, 2017

The organizers of Into the Valley took on the difficult task of finding a new venue as unique as their original location in Sweden. This year sees the fledgling festival take flight to Estonia at an abandoned limestone quarry on the site of a former prison. While they were at it, the team also announced new festivals at a castle in South Africa and a factory in Sweden.

Into The Wild
Stora Vica, Sweden
August 10-12, 2017

Into The Castle
Cape Town, South Africa
January 26-27, 2018

Heavy Montreal
Montreal, Quebec, Canada

July 28-29, 2018

Due to renovations at Parc Jean-Drapeau, Heavy Montreal will be on hiatus this year. To put some balm on that wound, organizers Evenko have already procured dates for 2018.
