Music and Art Combine Under the Texas Sky: Art Outside 2012

If you’re tired of the standard style music festival, check out Art Outside happening October 19-21, 2012, at Apache Pass in Texas (about an hour northeast of Austin). According to the organizers: “It’s like Lightning in a Bottle meets Electric Forest meets Burning Man.” With a DIY ethos and focus on visual and performance artists as well as the music, expect Art Outside to be an eye-opening experience.

Camping under the wide open skies of Texas is available at the venue — Apache Pass is a historic site located along the San Gabriel River. Or you can just dance until dawn at the late night stage.

Tickets: Pick up a pass for the weekend for $90 ($110 if you buy it at the gate). This also includes a standard camping pass.

While his identity remains a mystery, you may have already met him, probably when he helped himself to your party favors.
