Mission Creek Festival 2014 First

The Mission Creek Festival has confirmed dates for April 1-6, 2014, in Iowa City, Iowa. The first round early lineup includes Jason Isbell (formerly of the Drive-By Truckers) and legendary composer Philip Glass as well as home-state singer/songwriter, William Elliott Whitmore, Nat Baldwin from Dirty Projectors, and experimental/electronic Oneohtrix Point Never. It’s rounded out by Weekend, Wolf Eyes, The Pines, and New Bums.

Mission Creek also boasts a stellar literary component to the festival with authors including so far Rachel Kushner, Brian Evenson, and Leslie Jamison. New this year, a tech and innovation conference will be added to the week long festival.

Tickets are on sale now for a $125 silver pass which grants access to all ticketed music acts as capacity permits.
