A Lollapalooza festival scheduled this summer in Tel Aviv, Isreal, has been cancelled according to various reports. According to the Los Angeles times, a spokeswoman called it a “postponement” which is festival-speak for “cancelled.”
Apparently, there had been rumors of financial troubles putting on the festival. It also sounds like booking artists may have run into some issues with the whole political climate of the current Middle East.
Don’t worry. Lollapalooza Chicago is still full steam ahead along with the dual South American editions in Chile and Brazil.
