Much like a backpacker who’s already “done” South America, Lollapalooza will add another festival to its tattered passport book and fill up your Instagram feed with travel porn next fall when it heads to Germany. The latest edition will take place in Berlin, Germany, at an abandoned airport from September 12-13, 2015.

For those living on other continents you still have your choice of Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and of course Lollapalooza Prime in Chicago. Our office pool is betting that the Lolla game plan is to eventually hold a festival on every continent — if Metallica can do why not Perry Farrell?

Speaking of Farrell he had this to say about the latest addition: “Berlin’s energy, vibrant art, fashion and music scenes are a mirror reflection of what Lollapalooza is all about and I can’t wait to share in this cultural exchange.” He doesn’t go on to say “Hey, we’re holding this in a fucking abandoned airport. How sick is that?”
