The Lightning in a Bottle Festival will touch down for the ninth time this Memorial Day Weekend with Moby, Little Dragon, Phantogram and Gramatik. The electrifying (yeah, I went there) lineup will also feature Moby, Little Dragon, Phantogram, Gramatik, Beats Antique, Amon Tobin, Baauer, Gold Panda, Simian Mobile Disco, and Claude VonStroke.
LIB is at the forefront of a more intimate music festival experience with a DIY flavor that is lacking at the mega-fests. The Festival Guy reviewed Lightning in a Bottle 2013 and described it as:
At LIB you feel like you are already friends with everyone there, even if you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting them yet. This comfortable vibe leads to something that is unheard of in other festivals. EVERYONE DANCES! It’s unlike anything you will see at other festivals. This crowd just knows how to get down. Dancing is like a natural instinct.
