The Johnny Cash Music Festival, which debuted last year, easily could have been a one year wonder, so we’re stoked to see that this celebration of The Man in Black will be an annual event. Rosanne Cash, Willie Nelson, Dierks Bently, and The Civil Wars will perform at the October 5, 2012, show in Jonesboro, Arksanas.
Last year, the first year fest raised $300,000 for the Johnny Cash Boyhood Home Project which seeks to restore the Cash family home as well as renovate some local landmarks in the city of Dyess.
Tickets: Prices will range from $37.50-$150 and go on sale 10 a.m. on Friday, May 25th. That $150 ticket will hook you up with a pre-show meet-and-greet. Tell Willie we said hello.
