Coldplay, Jay-Z, Kenny Chesney, Bruno Mars: iHeartRadio Music Festival

Lady Gaga enjoys the finger lickin' tastiness of Clear Channel's money.

As if turning terrestrial radio into a crap filled wasteland wasn’t enough, Clear Channel has released its unique brand of mediocrity onto the Internet. I know, the streaming service known as iHeartRadio has been out for years. It’s the place where you can stream the same Lite FM playlist from cities all over the country. Awesome!

This September 23-24, iHeartRadio is making a move to take on Pandora. The official “coming out” party is the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas which features a blockbuster lineup of the artists who have been sucking on the dried up teat of oldie-time radio. Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Rascal Flatts, Coldplay, and Carrie Underwood are all on board. See the full lineup here.

There’s no tickets for sale. You have to win them by listening to FM radio.

Born during a sweaty, backstage, Bonnaroo downpour, the editor-in-chief's mission in life is to dance, write, and travel to every great festival that this wide world has to offer. While his identity remains a mystery, you may have already met him, probably when he helped himself to your party favors.
