Hitting the High Seas With Kid Rock, KISS, and Lynyrd Skynyrd

Festival cruise experts, Sixthman, have definitely found a niche with voyages starring artists like John Mayer, Zac Brown Band, and Barenaked Ladies. This fall and spring are no different with three cruises artist sponsored cruises already announced. The schedule for these trips basically follow the same formula — depart from Miami and head to the Great Stirrup Cay, a private island perfect for partying. All three of the following artist themed cruises have put out to sea before so expect the namesake headliners to be having as much fun as the fans. Simple Man Cruise
Dates: October 27-31, 2012

Lineup: Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Doobie Brothers, Outlaws, Blackberry Smoke

For those of you that scream out “Play Freeeeebird!!” at every damned artist, your wildest dreams will come true when when not only will you indeed hear the world’s best ode to singledom, but it will be played by the band who wrote it. The rest of the lineup is filled with a tribute to southern rock about as far south as you can get in the United States.

KISS Kruise
Dates: October 31-November 4, 2012

There you are relaxing on the deck with a margarita when suddenly a shadow blocks your sun. You open your eyes to find Gene Simmons in his full KISS getup standing over you. He asks if he can borrow some sunscreen. At least, that’s what we assume will happen on this trip. Also, it takes place over Halloween so expect fellow shipmates to be giving KISS a run for the money in the costume department.

Is there anybody in the world that looks like they would be more fun to party with than Kid Rock? Turns out we’re not the only ones that want in on that boat. Chilling the Most is already sold out — although there’s still a long shot chance with the waiting list.
