The Hangout Fest rolled into shore today bringing along a drool-worthy lineup of artists. Dave Matthews Band and Jack White top the bill along with some excellent co-headliners: String Cheese Incident will jam out two sets. The Flaming Lips are going to perform The Dark Side of the Moon (awesome). Chris Cornell, G. Love, and Wilco and will bring that nineties nostalgia to the scene. A couple other acts that caught my eye on first perusal are M. Ward, Yelawolf, The Devil Makes Three, Cage The Elephant, Flogging Molly and Coheed & Cambria. See the full lineup down below.
In the meantime, it’s time to start planning your trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama for May 18-20, 2012. Regular priced admission is $209 for all three days, but remember that this festival takes place on the sandy shores of the Gulf Coast. You’re going to want to go big for this one and splurge on local accommodations. Imagine catching sets in between massive house parties at your beach condo. Check the site (link below) for more info.
