The McDowell Mountain Music is back for 2013 and they have already posted some of the confirmed artists. The Phoenix based festival donates 100% of the proceeds to three local charities. The fest has been assisting kids like this since 2004. Typically held in mid-April. this year the festival moves to March 22-24, 2013.
Five artists were announced in the first round. The Roots will headline Friday night along with Balkan Beat Box. Saturday features the awesome Heartless Bastards and Sunday will jam out with Yonder Mountain String Band and Dr. Dog. So already a fun lineup and MMMF is just scratching at the surface.
Tickets: Passes for the festival go on sale January 1st, 2013. You’re looking at a daily ticket price of $55 and a three day pass for $120. There’s also a VIP daily pass for $150.
