The Scene
An annual gathering that's equal parts music, arts, and activism, Forecastle takes place at Louisville’s Waterfront Park, attracting over 75,000 attendees annually. Featuring alumni like Outkast, Jack White, The Black Keys, The Avett Brothers, Beck, Alabama Shakes, My Morning Jacket, and The Flaming Lips makes this a stellar summer event. And because it's Kentucky, there's definitely a taste of the state's famous liquor in the Bourbon Lodge.
