Hailed as the first “major” US festival of the year, Coachella continues to grow as quickly as the desert city of Indio, California. Since 2002, this festival has seen massive growth, even going so far as to expand to two weekends in 2012.

3 REASONS TO GO
1. Spring has Sprung: After a sparse winter of tunes, hibernating festival junkies from around the world descend on Coachella like a fun time plague.
2. Double Down: You’re planning for one Coachella, why not make it two? Swing over to Las Vegas during the week and return fully refreshed for the second weekend.
3. Eat Local : This is California, so feed your face over the weekend with a Farmer’s Market that brings the freshest food in the region straight to your punished body.

FUN FACT
In 2011, a VIP safari tent that included all access passes, fully furnished shakir style tents with air conditioning, private restrooms & showers, and golf cart shuttles only cost $5000.
