The Battle for Woodstock
The founder of Woodstock, Michael Lang, has confirmed that there will be a 50th anniversary celebration from August 16-18, 2019. This will be a completely different festival than the previously announced Bethel Woods Festival produced by Live Nation, which takes place on the original site during the same dates. Michael Lang’s Woodstock will take place in Watkins Glen, New York.
New Year, New Lineups
It’s a New Year, which means the annual uncorking of the United States festival season. Heavyweights like Governor’s Ball, Coachella, Bonnaroo, and BottleRock have revealed 2019 lineups, along with electronic stalwarts Shaky Beats and Beyond Wonderland. It’s also January (in case you hadn’t noticed), which also means we don’t have anymore time for your puzzles and your Twitter clues and whatever social media hijinx the PR teams cooked up, so complete lineups are being dropped.
