Osheaga Moving To New Home
The Montreal mega-festival classic, Osheaga, will be leaving its current home on the wonderful Île Ste-Hélène and moving to the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit on Île Notre-Dame. Their previous venue is undergoing construction for the next two years prompting the switch in location. Sister festivals Heavy Montreal and ÎleSoniq will also be heading over as well.

All Hail Radiohead
The big news of the week is that rock royalty, Radiohead, has been tapped for both the Glastonbury Festival in the UK and Open’er in Poland. Now that they have been confirmed, the rumor mill is churning up Kings Of Leon as the next possible announcement. We were lucky enough to catch a preview of that double bill this year at Lollapalooza Berlin and it was an excellent pairing.

Trouble for Okeechobee?
The founders of Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival have surprisingly resigned after pulling off a successful first year festival. Other than the typical PR doublespeak, no concrete reason was given for the organizational changes. This year’s Okeechobee Festival is scheduled for March 2-5, 2017.

Tortuga Festival 2017 Lineup
Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan and Chris Stapleton have been tapped for this April’s Tortuga Music Festival in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. You want a lineup poster? Here’s one:

Isle of Wight Dates Confirmed
It’s been a couple of tense months for the Isle of Wight Festival, but organizers have seemed to worked their way out of budget issues with the venue. Solo Promotors have confirmed that Isle of Wight Festival will happen from June 8-11, 2017.
