Twitter Has Opinions
After more than two years without a lineup announcement from Glastonbury, the world famous fest finally got the ball rolling with their Friday headliner. With predictions ranging from Fleetwood Mac to Madonna to the Rolling Stones, Glasto pulled a surprise move with Stormzy, a major grime artist not widely known outside the UK. As always, Twitter had something to say on the selection:
I mean I can accept Trumps bigotry, May’s incompetence and general social malaise but Stormzy at Glasto – enough is enough! #glastonbury2019 — @JonSchaaf99
Never understand why people moan about who is headlining a festival? It’s live music, enjoy it and be thankful you managed to get a ticket, yer fucking bellsniffs. #glastonbury2019 — @KayleighMaC
I’d rather cut off my dick with a brick than see Stormzy headlining Glastonbury #Glastonbury2019 — @LewiP81
