Northeast electronic fans have been absolutely starved for a massive festival like NYC’s Electric Zoo, so it’s no surprise that specially priced early bird tickets sold out in a matter of hours. Those quickly disappeared and pricing has moved on the next level — $259 for a weekend pass. The show is scheduled for Labor Day Weekend — Sept. 2 thru Sept. 5, 2011.
The headliners for all three days are as follows: Tiesto on Friday, September 2nd, David Guetta on Saturday night, and Armin Van Buuren closes out the show on Sunday.
As for single day tickets, those will only appear if the 3-day tickets don’t sell out. Don’t hold your breath. Electronic music festivals are crushing right now. Electric Zoo did so well in their first year, organizers expanded from two days to three. The Ultra Music Festival in Miami smashed previous attendance records. On the west coast, The Electric Daisy Carnival could barely fit everyone into the 100,000 capacity LA Coliseum and moved the event to the NASCAR track outside of Las Vegas.
