It’s almost time for a trip to the Electric Forest (June 30-July 1st in Rothbury, Michigan) and the electro-jamming camping fest revealed two big chunks of news.
First off, there will be a reduced-rate Saturday/Sunday ticket for $149.50. That’s almost $100 less than the regular weekend ticket which is going for $242.50. So for those of you that have to, you know, work during the week, this two-day ticket is a sweet deal. Purchase tickets and get more information on the Electric Forest official site.
Now that we’ve taken care of business, let’s get to the second and more important announcement — the schedule. Thievery Corporation will bring the beats on Friday, Bassnectar takes on Saturday, and Girl Talk will be the Sunday night closer. STS9 will play two sets on Friday and Saturday and headliner, The String Cheese Incident, plays a whopping three nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
