Pasquale Rotella, the CEO of Insomniac, took to Facebook to drop some information about next year’s festivals.  The first big news is that Electric Daisy Carnival will not be returning to New York City in 2017. No reason was given, but NYC has always been a tough market for festivals.

Nocturnal Wonderland, their big camping festival in Southern California, will move to a different weekend in 2017. Beyond Wonderland is heading back to its original home at the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino. Electric Daisy Carnival will be back for a second edition in India and EDC Japan will debut in Tokyo.

Still not much info about the new Middlelands Festival in Texas, but Rotella says that, “we’re pulling out all the stops to make this experience different from anything we’ve ever done before, so brush up on your Renaissance history and prepare for a real adventure for the ages!”
