It’s certainly been a roller coaster ride so far this year for the Electric Daisy Carnival. The success of the 2011 Las Vegas show prompted Insomniac to add a second EDC this year in what they call New York City and what we call The Meadowlands in New Jersey.
The 2012 Las Vegas EDC, which is expecting around a 300,000 attendence, just announced its massive lineup today, but the news is overshadowed by the fact that the founder of the show has been charged in a massive corruption case in Los Angeles, the former home of the EDC before a girl overdosed at the 2010 event and L.A. bounced the rave out of town.
But the show must go on and Insomnic has stated that no events will be impacted including the June 8-10th EDC at the Las Vegas Speedway which will feature headliners like David Guetta, Tiesto, Avicii, Benny Benassi and Afrojack. See the current lineup in our Electric Daisy Carnival Guide.
